| If a customer orders a large-format or full-wrap image (figure 1) to adorn a truck or a bus, it is created with tiled portions of the image and assembled so that they'll appear as a single, continuous "wrap" when the job is completed. Today's giant decals often feature process color and high levels of detail, so accurately positioning and aligning each panel is even more important. And if that is not enough, you also have to contend with irregular vehicle surfaces, such as corrugations, rivets and seams from overlapping body components. | |||||||||
